A great opportunity to see some of the dramatic natural landscapes for which southern Chile is renowned. Sierra Madre is a very scenic, 4-hour horseback-riding excursion through the Los Nevados sector. This trip is appropriate for all experience levels.

Itinerary: Your group starts out from our ranch in the countryside with a local guide. You will ride through native forests and into and across a volcanic ash field, where past lava flows have dramatically altered the landscape. After 2 hours or so you arrive to the far side of Villarrica Volcano. Along the way you have incredible views of the Andes, and other volcanoes including stunning, close-up views of Villarrica and the nearby mountains. Afterwards you return to the ranch where a snack and drinks await you. You can spend some time relaxing at the ranch, before we take you back to Pucón.
