Itinerary: We leave our office and go to the volcanic lava flow "el turbo," eruption that happened on December 29, 1971. From there we visit the beautiful “Ojos de Caburgua” (Eyes of the Caburgua), the underground river coming from nearby Lake Caburgua, which drops into a sparkling, deep pool surrounded by lush vegetation. We continue 4 km up to Lake Caburgua.
It is a 53–square-kilometer natural lake, with thermals due to its volcanic origin. There are great views of Villarica volcano amidst leafy vegetation. The beaches and clear and pleasant waters make this a top local attraction. We then continue our trip to finish at Termas Huife's exquisite hot springs, where you can purchase a meal.
